World Textile Press Met in ITM 2009 Launching Meeting

ITM 2009 Exhibition Press Launching Meeting and Dinner was organized in Munich Novotel on the 16th September 2007 brought the representatives of the world’s the most important textile publications.

Press Launching Meeting and Dinner of ITM 2009 Exhibition, which is the most important and only textile machinery show of Middle East and Easter Europe was held in Munich Novotel on the 16th September 2007. In addition to Teknik Fuarcılık and Tuyap representatives, Members of TEMSAD Management Board also participated in this launching meeting that is followed by the authorities of world’s the most important textile publications.
The 3rd edition of ITM International Textile Machinery Exhibition will be realized in Istanbul Beylikdüzü Tüyap Exhibition and Congress Center in 6- 10 June 2009 with the cooperation of Teknik Fuarcılık, Tüyap and TEMSAD. The press members who follow this meeting emphasized their pleasure about this cooperation and they stated that ITM 2009 will be an important meeting place

“We will hold ITM exhibition more successfully in 2006 with a renovated exhibition area”
While the ITM exhibition, which was planned to realize biannually after its first edition in 2004, would be realized in 2008 according to its normal period; Necip Güney, Teknik Fuarcılık Fonder Partner & Sales and Marketing Manager gave this explanation about its postponing to 2009:. “According to our period, the 3rd ITM exhibition was suggested to be realized in 2008. However ITMA Asia Exhibition will be realized in Shanghai/China in July 2008. Our goal is to organize the most productive exhibition for our exhibitors and potential visitors. Both ITMA Asia organizers and our exhibitors demanded our exhibition not to coincide with this exhibition. Thus we decided to postpone ITM

exhibition one more year and to organize it in 2009. We believe that this date bill be very suitable for everyone.” Necip Güney told this about organizing ITMs again in its previous location after the change of place in 2006: “ITM exhibition that we organized on 01-06 June 2004 for the first time could not fit in Tüyap Beylikdüzü Exhibition Center due to intensive participation. That’s why many companies participated in smaller stands than they needed. In order to meet this intensive demand we had to organize ITM exhibition in another exhibition area in 2006.During this period, Tuyap made new investments to the exhibition area. It was enlarged with the addition of 3 halls to exhibition area thanks to these investments and its infrastructure was renewed. In that way, Tuyap Belikdüzü Exhibition and Congress Center was made the most appropriate exhibition area for ITM quality and to host an international exhibition. We will hold ITM exhibition more successfully in 2006 with a renovated exhibition area.”

Stating that; regional developments stands out in the world textile conjecture, localization emerge in the Far East, Europe and Middle East, Necip Güney added that the most important and only technology meeting of Middle East and Eastern Europe region is ITM exhibitions and they started preparations in order to realize the exhibition in 2009 in th most successful way.

Temsad Chairman Adil Nalbant, who spoke after him emphasized that Turkish textile machinery and accessory producers joined among the most important technology developers of the word, Turkish producers who are making exportation to many countries from USA to Far East, Middle East countries and to Europe took part in important projects through the cooperation/partnership with the other world leader countries and Turkey is a very important textile country; and he added that: “Our producers, who are aware of the importance of the exhibitions to introduce their technologies worldwide, exhibit in the exhibitions in their target markets and display their products.

However, being one of the centers of global textile, a very important textile machinery exhibition is realized in Turkey. That is why, Turkish textile machinery and accessory producer companies are excited about hosting the other technology producer companies at ITM 2009.

ITM 2009 International Textile Machinery Exhibition, that will be organized in the cooperation of the leading name of exhibition organization in Turkey, Tuyap, watching the sector closely and taking great steps for the sector, Teknik Fuarcılık and bringing textile technology producers in Turkey together, TEMSAD; will be an important meeting for the national and international textile machinery producers. Istanbul, which is a bridge between the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Europe is the most suitable location for this great meeting of world textile market. The success of ITM 2009 Exhibition will take Turkey to the top of world textile.
As TEMSAD, we think that the exhibition in 2009 will reach much more success with more exhibitors and visitors. As the sole association that textile technology producers in Turkey join together, we started preparations in order to host other technology producers in the world in the best way.”

Giving the last speech at the meeting, Tüyap Holding Executive Manager Serdar Yalçın emphasized that ITM 2009 Exhibition will become a great meeting thanks to the synergy emerging at the result of the cooperation between Teknik Fuarcılık, Tüyap and TEMSAD, and he said: “Among the developing industries over the world, we assume that Turkey is an important country for the new cooperation and new relations, especially in textile sector. ITM 2009 Exhibition is a great opportunity for world’s developed economies and textile technology producers and their very strong experiences to meet Turkish producers and Turkish industry.

Tuyap’s background, its 28 years of experience in exhibitions, power of human resources of Teknik Fuarcılık and Tüyap, and TEMSAD and other public associations’ very precious support are very important factors to create a great synergy.
ITM 2009 Exhibition, which will be realized in Istanbul in June 2009, will be a great meeting platform for the exhibitors and for a huge visitors group. We will be very glad to see you at ITM 2009.”
