ITM 2009 will speed up world textile investment and trade

ITM exhibitions were decided to be organized bi-annually at the first edition in 2004; and according to its actual shedule it was supposed to be held in 2008; but we shifted this date to 2009. Due to the ITMA Asia Exhibition in Shanghai/China July 2008, we postponed ITM to 2009. Our goal is to realize the most effective organization for our exhibitors and potential visitors. Both ITMA Asia organizers and our exhibitors requested that our exhibitions do not coincide. We then postponed ITM exhibition for a year, and decided to realize it in 2009.

ITM exhibition that we organized on 01-06 June 2004 for the first time, both could not fit in Tüyap Beylikdüzü Fair, Convention and Congress Center due to intensive participation.

That's why many companies participated in smaller booths than they wanted. In order to meet this intensive demand we had to organize ITM exhibition in another exhibition area in 2006. During this period, TÜYAP made new investments to the exhibition area. The exhibition area was enlarged with an additional 3 halls and the infrastructure was renewed. Consequently, Tüyap Belikdüzü Fair, Convention and Congress Center became the most appropriate exhibition area for ITM's quality to host an international exhibition. ITM exhibition will be held more successfully in 2009 with a renovated exhibition ground.

ITM Exhibitions, which are one of the most important textile technology meetings of the world; makes Turkiye and Istanbul the center of the textile sector. Almost 60.000 professional visitors attended ITM 2004, hosting the world's leading 1000 producers on 01-06 June 2004. At its second edition on June 27th to July 2nd 2006, the number of exhibitors increased to 1200 while the number of visitors increased to 65.000.

We think that the number of exhibitors and visitors will be higher in ITM 2009 exhibition that we will realize after 3 years. That is why we will realize ITM 2009 Exhibition in its own place, in Beylikdüzü Tüyap Fair, Convention and Congress Center in order to offer the best service and provide the most appropriate environment. Renewed and enlarged compared to the previous period, the exhibition area has been restructured for ITM 2009 Exhibition, in order to meet requirements perfectly.

We believe that ITM 2009 exhibition will host the largest event of the world in 2009, with the studies we do, since we aim to offer the best service and the highest quality. The ITM exhibitions, which we started with the motto of "Textile Exhibitions in a Textile Manufacturing Country" in order to join forces in Turkish textile sector with cooperation of TEKNİK Ltd, TÜYAP, TEMSAD and TTSİS, will be effective in world textile industry for long years. Due to the great interest that it receives, we expect 1500 exhibitors and almost 80.000 visitors for ITM 2009 Exhibition, which will speed up world textile investment and trade.
